Our Mission

We believe that all of Denver deserves quality health care, no matter who you are. Denver Health is an integral part of the fabric of Denver. Their mission is to take care of anyone in Denver, regardless of ability to pay. That mission is being threatened as health care inflation rises and Denver continues to grow, with more residents taking advantage of the many services offered by Denver Health than ever before.

Healing Denver exists to advocate for additional funding for Denver Health and to inform voters about the impact the institution has on our city. Healing Denver is seeking to place a measure on the November, 2024 ballot that would increase sales taxes in order to create a permanent funding stream to ensure that Denver Health can continue to provide outstanding care for every Denver resident, regardless of their ability to pay.
